  1. Says he was put in a better situation in Houston.
  2. The Nicole talk is so tired. She would have been in Tepper's ear regardless of an official role. At least this way there's some transparency.
  3. Sorry to bust your bubble but that committee was just to give Tepper candidates. Ain't no way they came back like "You know what? Just promote the guy you have" and then happened to land on a coach who had a close working relationship with that guy. In the end it was your standard hiring process for a GM and HC.
  4. Guy seems like a straight shooter unlike Rhule and still hungry unlike Reich
  5. With the best roster in franchise history. We're not too hard on him y'all are too soft because he's a nice guy who fought cancer.
  6. Guy's got more personality than our last four coaches combined at least. Hopefully that resonates with the players.
  7. my sources tell me it means the GM and coach work for the owner of the team
  8. This has me optimistic about him. The team lives or dies by the OL and he seems to get that.
  9. He’s the employer of course he does. But it was all Ben Johnson until Dan was promoted and suddenly his boy is the guy. What more proof do you need?
  10. Was that before or after one of our most beloved players retired early because of concussions? Trolls are inevitable but I worry about a Streisand effect because of this thread
  11. This is 100% Dan Morgan. He's been tight with Canales for longer than he's known Tepper. Y'all wanted Tepper to get out the way well Dan is your "football guy" now.
  12. Our most experienced staff was the worst we've ever assembled
  13. Can you blame him? He’s been vocal about wanting to come back here in some capacity and the organization just ignores him.
  14. If he had control of the finances and that much input it sounds he had more power than the general manager did
  15. I thought this guy was just a glorified accountant doing the paperwork for the GM. If they’re held accountable for the decisions I don’t understand why it’s a separate job.
  16. Eh even if this goes badly I really don’t think this fanbase would make CTE jokes about a player that was well liked. More probably remember Luke in tears than Dan’s playing days at this point.
  17. I'm surprised so many are against this honestly. I trust Morgan over Tepper's ability to hire externally right now.
  18. Reich so bad at coaching that y’all got conspiracy theories to explain it
  19. New regime is not going to be loyal to Bryce but they're not going to be so bold as to push their own guy. They'd be really putting themselves out there if they dump him and then he thrives on other team practically for free.
  20. I don't understand why people think adding another middle man to the front office solves anything. Tepper can't hire a good GM or HC to save his life but somehow is going to find the right person to give the keys to? What happens if they're another bad hire? Should he intervene or stay out of it and let the "professionals" work?" Like he may fade out of the public eye for a bit but there's no way around the fact that he's making the calls in the end, I'm sorry guys. Just gotta hope he's learning from his mistakes.
  21. Pulling the plug on Young now would be dumber than anything Fitterer did here
  22. We're still doing this after 100+ years of experience brought us our worst staff yet huh? Denver beat us in the Super Bowl with their MVP QB as GM but carry on
