    I stopped taking football seriously years ago. I went into today expecting us to lose and that’s what I got. I didn’t get all pumped up and then pissed when we blew yet another double digit lead. Life is short, you don’t know how long you have with people who are special to you.

    Not sure how to vote when asked are we going up or down so I voted yes. Losing today was actually what we needed. We didn’t need to win and get roasted by the Cowboys in the first round. If we can get the right guy at HC, OC and DC(yeh I know) and find a DE,TE, CB, QB and safety we’re looking good

    The clowns here crying about us losing and missing the playoffs have no freaking clue what Wilks has had to work with this season… the BEST player on the team was traded, he’s working with an OC who wouldn’t have a job anywhere else and a DC who shouldn’t be a DC, plus a starting QB who should be a backup. Let me know who else in the League could work miracles with this team.

    The staff was hoping YGM would finally start showing why they drafted him where they did but the dude is straight up garbage. Making Burns the only viable pass rusher was a huge mistake, either for Fitty or Rhule or both.

    It was nice to actually play a meaningful game in January for a change. It was nice to see us playing better than we have since Rhule was hired. But the truth is Wilks would make a great DC, but this team needs to have an offensive minded HC, something we have NEVER had.

    If we have Horn and Deonte the Panthers win, plain and simple. You can’t always make lemonade out of lemons. Not saying Wilks should get the job but not many coaches are beating Brady with the corners we started.

    I really gotta love how people here can judge someone off of one season of play. How many HOFers had horrible rookie seasons? I’ll go with a heck of a lot.

    No Sam is not playing his way into a starter role in 23. Wilks has already stated the QB situation needs to be fixed so I’m assuming he doesn’t want Sam as his #1 if he gets the HC job.

    I love Wilks, he’s from the area and really does care about his players. I’m hesitant about giving him the HC tag because he’s yet another conservative “ three yards and a cloud of dust” guy. How long will that work? Pittsburgh handled us pretty easily and that worries me.
