From an outside perspective 2 years does seen quick to turn to a different coach. Problem is this coach and his team are regressing due to poor choices and mismanagement. I think the chances of Rhule staying another year are higher than him getting fired but he has a very short runway and there are still 4more Sundays of chaos ahead.

This all day. Had we taken a qb this year he would have looked like complete trash and the board would be full of bust threads. You want to see a young qb with promise thrown into an impossible situation look no further than Darnold with the jets. When he got here he was already broken beyond repair. Let’s not repeat that. Need a tackle and a guard/center that can start next year. Need Cam or someone competent not named walker or Darnold taking snaps.

Moving on was the correct decision. By keeping Rivera the statement made would have been that the organization was fine with status quo. Put whoever you want behind center and you will get similar results. sam Darnold: sucks but is somewhat capable of functioning in an NFL offense. He was under center and sucked, threw interceptions, got sacked and ran for his life. Cam: not MVP level anymore but clearly better than Darnold . Threw interceptions got sacked and ran for his life. Put MVP Aaron Rodgers or Watson under center and he may fare marginally better but he will most likely throw interceptions, get sacked and run for his life. Will also get pissed complain to media and demand a trade. QB is not the limiting factor on this offense. It’s OL and play calling. Disclaimer for the Cam police: no I am not saying Sam=Cam or that Cam sucks or is washed up. Just saying he can’t fix this situation.
