Tepper doesn’t care about $$ on Rhule’s contract as mentioned earlier in the thread. Tepper wants a stadium. Those are the $$$ that will motivate DT. If he thinks firing Rhule will get him that stadium faster I am sure he will gladly part with a portion of tomorrow’s daily income to make that happen.

Can’t blame bad players for playing badly. This should be expected

As long a Rhule sticks with the process we will be fine.

To be somewhat fair, from a draft standpoint I don’t think we have reached for players. Instead we have ignored position groups. In hindsight though, I’m glad we didn’t get a QB in last years draft. I don’t want one in this draft line bless we hit FA hard for OL.

Wonder if Darnold thinks Rhule is a real, live, functional NFL coach?

As an NC State grad, I will be able to watch mediocre but ultimately disappointing college football on both Saturdays and Sundays!

If they do win out (probability low) their tie will make them better than us if we lose out(probability high) which means a better draft pick. I’m cheering for the lions. aside from that I think you are correct tho. Lions stench is a bit worse than the panthers at this point.

From an outside perspective 2 years does seen quick to turn to a different coach. Problem is this coach and his team are regressing due to poor choices and mismanagement. I think the chances of Rhule staying another year are higher than him getting fired but he has a very short runway and there are still 4more Sundays of chaos ahead.

I think they had to cut their losses. Dude was not going to be the same player here. Part might be on Rhule but he was a distraction while in Carolina.

This all day. Had we taken a qb this year he would have looked like complete trash and the board would be full of bust threads. You want to see a young qb with promise thrown into an impossible situation look no further than Darnold with the jets. When he got here he was already broken beyond repair. Let’s not repeat that. Need a tackle and a guard/center that can start next year. Need Cam or someone competent not named walker or Darnold taking snaps.

Ineptitude of coaching and offensive line has caused many of the issues. TB, Cam and Sam (yea I know all about Sam) could fair better under different circumstances.

Not really sure but this Rhule character ain’t cuttin it. Maybe he needs more time as an assistant in the NFL and he could turn out to be good but he is in over his head at the moment.
