I have strep throat

:-(

Pity party please.

I can't stand going to the doctor and started feeling the symptoms five days ago. Went to urgent care this morning and got me some anti-biotics.

The pain was excruciating the past two days. I've heard these meds work fast as fug though.

Anyway :-(

I was really sick this weekend but bit the the bullet and went to U St. Music Hall last night.  Crazy house/edm sh*t.  For some reason it made me more sick.  Maybe it was the mint juleps earlier in the day..or the moscow mules late night..or the music itself..or the post-game...I dunno folks.

my body...it aches

Just got over strep a few weeks ago. My sore throat from hell was followed by a nasty infection because I tried to tough it out the first week and thought it was over when throat was good, big mistake. Coughing like hell, eventually I got some anti-biotics. You could tough it out without them and most likley be ok but there also could be some serious issues if you do. I don't like anti-biotics because they also have badd effects on your body, so I try to tough anything out at first.

I assume you got penacillian or amoxicillian, these pills work fast as poo and you'll be feeling great in 48 hours but keep taking that poo until it is all gone. I like to break the last two doses in half and spread it out even longer to wean my body off the drugs.

Good luck it sucks bad.

Yeah this is the worst pain I've ever been in (which probably tells you I'm a pussy) but man my tonsils and throat are throbbing right now. I got antibiotics and some pain killers but the pks aren't doing poo. I usually can tough out not taking pain killers for things but this is the first time I watch the clock to see when I can take another because the pain is so bad.

But yeah I'm taking the 10 day regiment all the way through

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
