Hardy 911 call

It's like I said in another thread, I'll reserve judgement, but why would Hardy call 911 when it's obvious he was trying to defuse the situation?

Look at this forum for example, you have the doubters and you have those condemning Hardy before all the details are out. As a child I lived with my grandparents, but my mother was abused by her boyfriend all the time and she'd come home crying that he beat her. My grandparents would tell her to call the police but she never would and the abuse continued for years until he finally killed her. When it happened I really didn't feel sadness because for one she abandoned me, but also the fact I knew she was an idiot for not leaving him.

I think many of us who've seen domestic abuse first hand always feel sympathy for the female as the victim, which in some cases it's 100% the truth. This has led us as a society to always view the male as the abuser and the female as a victim. It's a double standard where females could beat the living crap out of a guy with a baseball bat and he could grab her arm and leave a bruise sending him to jail.

Let the case progress so we can make informed decisions rather than what I've seen posted elsewhere where people pretty much would get a lynch mob together to hang him if they could.

What I take from the audio is that Hardy was trying to defuse the situation and called 911. The "victim" seems to know the criminal justice system quite well and was trying to get Hardy to hurt her and if that didn't work, inflict wounds on herself to make her look beaten. I would be curious to know if she has a history of mental illness, drug abuse, or any related domestic altercations in the past.

It's like the saying goes, you have her side, his side, and the truth is somewhere in between.

This all took place in the iveys building downtown where hardy lives. lots of uppity white people live there its entirely possible that they heard the voice of a loud black man and a white women screaming and assumed that he's beating her

could you just imagine the kinds of names people would be calling her if she were black?

lol

If she was going ape poo crazy and they were trying to hold her and keep her from hurting herself and themselves I can see how that would sound like a woman getting abused.

OK, they were holding her down.

If they were holding her that securely and what he wanted was her out of his house, how come they didn't "hold her" right out the front door?

Sure, if you want your eyes scratched out. Crazy women on hard drugs = more dangerous than a rabid badger named Ditka.

I think given the circumstances with her trying to hurt herself to make it look like he did it they wanted her there when the police arrived so they could see that she was unharmed.

He kept saying please send someone. Could've wanted to hold her until the cops came to break it up and take a report. You let that woman out of your sight and she fug around and fall down the stairs, your ass is toast. Maybe he thought having his buddy Curtis hold her with minimal injuries is better than letting her go to hurt herself further.
