Mike Evans does horrible interview on Jim Rome radio show

Mike Evans was on the Jim Rome show earlier today and he was turrible. Nothing but one word answers. Rome was tossing softballs and Evans was completely disinterested. Check out the deadspin link for the audio, it really is great how bad it is.

 

Rome didn't let Evans off the hook either. Folks on twitter let Evans have it as well.

When someone does an interview, on a nationally syndicated show at that, it is expected the interviewee will elaborate on their responses instead of mumbling three word monotone answers.

I don't see what was all that wrong with the interview.  I got the impression from the OP that Evans was saying words like "I done" and hung up the phone.  That was just a short and to the point interview.
