Chances Bersin could be our number 2 at WR

We are all in agreement that Cotchery and Avant are pretty much possession receivers.  Yet as I said a many a time before, I always like my second option at receiver to be able to take over a game if need be.  We had the luxury of both Moose and Smitty playing for us for a short time.  Bersin made some great catches this past Sunday, and he's shown the ability to get some YAC.  Not only that, but he has the strength to break tackles.  Do yall think he has what it takes to make a run at 2?

Maybe in the next couple seasons.  Depends how he does this season.  He's definitely going to be on the opening day roster though...so it's possible he and Benjamin are the future.  Add a speedy #3 receiver and that's a solid receiver corps.

Not likely at all actually. He will probably be #4 or #5 and get on the field in 5 reciever sets, and to spell the other guys.

This.  And considering that we almost never have 4 WRs on the field since Olsen essentially doubles as our #4 WR, he's not gonna get much run at all unless there's injuries or he leapfrogs someone on the depth chart which seems highly unlikely this season.

    • At the end of the day his momma should’ve just named him better.  This is some weird sh*t “please everybody please call him this, he asked super nicely”
    • Sure looked that way. That draft room looked like a funeral when the pick was announced and they'd already taken a QB two rounds earlier. Did not seem like a decision made by the folks in that room. Said it during the draft.
    • I really think they were ordered to draft him.  They can say what they want, but there was no joy in Mudville when he was picked.  Before this, the Browns were having a good draft.  SS had to know the reason he dropped--his poor interviews, feeling of entitlement, etc.  and when Gabriel trolls him, he acts as if the number was his--at least, that is the implication.  It was an aggressive move by Gabriel, but Sanders, under these circumstances, should not have taken the bait.
