Not necessarily, if anything, I think there is an argument to be made that it's the least important position in football, so I don't take issue with them leaving it for last during this re-build. Honestly the only position I think you could argue is less important to have studs is RB. Today's NFL is about the passing game. So you need the QB and WRs, as well as the OL to protect and give time for your passing game. While the opposite is true on defense, that you need the pass rush and secondary to be your strongest units to defend against the pass. There is a reason you don't see MLB's get drafted early in the 1st Round unless they're a true generational talent, like a Kuechly. -
