Costas blasts Panthers over handling of Hardy situation

Im sorry but other than the media blasting us what other consequences would letting Hardy play have? The fans will still support us as evidenced by that amazing crowd today, noone would think differently of Rivera or anyone else. Seriously, if Rivera came out tommorrow, held a press conference and said "Hardy will continue to play, my reason, because I said so thats why." Seriously, would the world end?' Would puppies and kittens around the world die?!

Other than the media pitching a temper tantrum, can someone name one consequence of just saying FU to the media and letting Hardy play? The stadium was as packed as I have ever seen it in my life today so you cant use the "ticket sales would decline excuse"

There will be a suspension if he's found guilty... Six games... So why add to it now... I get that folks want to see something done to him because of what has happened already, but the NFL already said they give first time offenders some consideration, and if they aren't going to officially suspend him now, then beyond our deactivation of him today, why should we continue to sit him and pay him?

Bob Costas, who last season went on an anti-gun tirade stated on SNF that the Panthers handling of the Hardy situation was horrible, that he never should have been allowed to practice or play and that seeing him de-activated for Sunday's game was welcoming.

I am firmly against domestic abuse, but this coming from Costas  makes me burn a little bit...

Wasn't Costas the same man who dumped his wife after cheating on her? The same man who went in on Tiger Woods for cheating on his wife? Man, these folks in today's media must eat a good dose of Arrogance everyday for breakfast for the way they behave.

I remember this one writer who went after Tiger Woods for cheating on his wife. This writer spent article after articles attacking Tiger's character and manhood. Then the news broke that  he punched his then girlfriend after some man made a pass at her and he thought she liked it and was flirting. The news broke but disappeared quite quickly. I am sure he's still a sports writer in some market.

Sometimes it's those living in glass houses who throw the  biggest stone.

Christ I'm so tired of hearing about non football related stuff WHILE IM WATCHING OR READING ABOUT FOOTBALL! Talk about the GAME you agenda pushing media parasites! I mean who the f**k won player of the week last week? The only name I can recall is Ray Rice. I don't give a s**t about domestic violence or anything else for 3 hours on a Sunday. I just want to watch football and forget about the nations/worlds problems. The media is seriously trying their hardest to f**k that up for me.

Costas is a tool. He's not just a SJW, he's on of their commandos. He finds whatever interest is current and tickles his fancy, acts irate about it, and uses his "position" to generate ratings and attention.

The guy is a putz with no interest for what happens on the field of play. He's a politician more concerned with stupid sub plots that will advance his career. Grandstanding extraordinaire.

    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
    • Yeah your right the owner was copping hand shandies while all this was going down
    • I mean not surprised the Patriots took him in and aren't trying to push him out. They've been the most morally bankrupt team in the NFL for a long while. Wouldn't be surprised if Vrabel has his own dirt on Kraft/Brady and other assholes from that organization over the last couple decades.
