Rivera coming up on NFL Network to discuss Hardy.

Mentioned Stewie and Cam playing well.

Disappointed a little in defense for not getting outs on 3rd down as much as he'd like.

Hardy situation will be evaluated. "Fluid situation"

DG doing due diligence today on teams options.

Hardy said he understood deactivation, Ron allowed him to go home yesterday. On time today for meetings.

Said he, JR, and DG made decision. All internal to team.

No decision as of now, but will be full participant in practice and meetings this week.

Play him and you win, you don't have a conscience. Play him and you lose, he's a distraction.

Team investigation ongoing.

Tolbert ok, a little sore. Fozzy pulled quad, week to week. Deangelo worked out today. Gerry Williams worked out today. Tolbert took shot that knocked the wind out of him.

Little concerned about KBs drops, concentration issue, but loved big catch. Working on details.

Thinks D will get even better. Mentioned Melvin and Cason by name as having good game.

He should say: "The media is irrelevant to us, we owe it to our fans and players do do what we think is right in accordance with the Panthers' code of conduct. Furthermore we realize that even our own local media is against us. We have adopted an Us against the world mentality, so I'm officially putting every team in this League on notice!"

Then he should drop the mic and say: " see you Sunday night"

It would also be epic if he were to put on some shades and say: "deal with it"

The media can't even get their facts straight, I can't tell you the number of times I've read "two counts of domestic violence" or "then girlfriend" which was not the case considering they had split up before this. Domestic violence includes violence against men.

Someone needs to stand up to these feminists groups and get their facts straightened out.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
