ESPN... Brandon Marshall

Some lady lawyer just went on tv with a pair of chicks and are saying Brandon Marshall assaulted them and the NFL swept it under the rug.

Also, Brandon Marshall is spazzing out on Twitter. ESPN aired a brand new E-60 on Marshall last night and it was nothing but hashing over his Domestic Violence history and clips of an interview touching on it. Marshall went off and is saying ESPN lied to him. Said they followed him around for 2 years for a supposed documentary on NFL offseason camps, routines, etc. Said they did hours of interviews talking about football and the only parts they showed last night were a few question about his past they kept sneaking in.

Looks like ESPN threw together a quick ratings piece in light of this crap, and are exploiting Marshall in the process. Looks like they just threw together all the news clips from years ago from his DV issues, then edited in a few DV questions they snuck in on him over the course of interviews from the 2 year documentary.

Hey, why show a football documentary during this DV drama when we can past a few clips of these interviews & throw together a spur of the moment DV ratings hit!

ESPN = FOX, CNN, MSNBC, etc... Nothing but fabricated garbage aimed at ratings.

Yep.

ESPN has been unwatchable this week, especially Mike & Mike. Maybe I'm biased because they have absolutely been crapping on JR.

I switched over to Dan Patrick today to see how he handled everything and it was much better.

How could the NFL sweep it under the rug it's the fuging police/justice systems responsibility to prosecute that...so tired of idiots thinking the NFL is some sort of entity that it isn't...it's not their fuging job to go after it's own players based on whatever allegations random liars or actual victims profess.

They respond according to actual facts and should act on legal proceedings.

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
