Lack of Discipline

The lack of discipline has been terrible these last couple of games.  Stupid penalties, boneheaded plays and lack of concentration. 

 

Our defense was lights out game one and two.   Games three and four we haven't been able to stop anything.  12 yards per play. WTF.  Just terrible.

 

We have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot and get back to Panther football.  Missing Thomas Davis cannot be the key to our defense.  Just about every drive it was something stupid that would set us back.  Offensively and Defensively.   Bad break too.  Both of S. Smith TDs were busted plays. 

 

I think the blame starts at the top too.  It was noted in Training Camp things weren't as intense as before and it seems to be trickling down to the regular season. 

 

Surprisingly we are still leading the division.  Rivera needs to tighten up the ship.  McDermott and Rivera need to figure out what Pittsburgh and Baltimore figured out about our defense and FIX IT.

 

My opinion is offense's are using the short drop and quick hitters to neutralize our front four.  McDermott and Rivera are good defensive minds.  They need to figure this Poo out now.  

 

It isn't too late to right the ship.

 

Let's get our head out of our asses and get back to Panther football.

harper has sucked in all facets of the game, Decoud has been horrible in run support, our CBs have been bad, we realllllly miss Hardy and Davis

I didn't expect too much from Harper to be honest but I expected him to be better than Godfrey. At this point I'm lost found words. Decoud is also suspect at times.

I got that but damn we are giving up yards 10 at a time.  I cannot believe that Hardy and Davis are the only guys that can play.  Got it, might be a drop off but drop off the face of the earth?  Good God it looked like Pee Wee football.

You pretty much summed it up... Even with this team falling apart the last two weeks WE ARE STILL IN FIRST PLACE. Every team in our division is vulnerable, and if we can somehow plug the gaping holes we have and get back to playing Carolina football, we can win the NFCS.

harper sucks and would be an improvement to replace him asap, he's not wrapping up when tackling, and is to slow for pass coverage or anything else

 

put godfrey in, and with norman starting i think we could see a decent change.
