It has been a month since we picked this guy up.

 

Has there been any kind of improvement?

 

Does he have a chance to make the 53 man roster before the season is up?

Wrs aren't really the problem at this point. He's probably not better than what we have and with no injuries at the position, there really isn't a reason to bring him up

i dont think people realize just how bad he was when he got here and how much of a project he really is.

 

he might be more naturally talented than the other WRs on the roster not named kelvin benjamin, but he's not "better" or at least better prepared than the other guys who have roster spots.

 

i have a feeling that they are having to start from ground zero with this guy so it may take a while. i think it should be worth it when they get through with him, but i don't anticipate that being any time soon.

someone ahead of him would have to get hurt or really start messing up their assignments or start dropping a lot of balls. the guys we have right now are doing everything they are supposed to be doing. there's no reason to demote them for a guy who is still more of a work in progress than anyone else on the roster.

so the panthers are smarter than 27 other teams because a talented player like hill made it through waivers to us and we signed him yet the panthers are somehow also too dumb to play him at the same time?

everybody in the NFL is talented.  he has problems with basic wide receiver concepts so he doesn't get a spot on the active roster yet.

Only thing he brings to the table right now is a deep threat , but that might help open things up for the running game.

I've said it a million times, we have absolutely no speed on offense. Couldn't he help out playing a catching RB on a play or two, or taking an end around handoff, just to try to open something up?

People had visions of him starting and leading the league in receptions within a week of his signing.
