Very few, if any, NFL coaches have the "street cred"  Rivera has...

 

The man was never a great player, but he was a solid contributor on some great defenses.

 

He knows his business and is going to be a tough coach for players to quit on.

 

The ingredient most lacking the last two weeks was the great effort Rivera teams almost always display.
