Bengals 31

Carolina 14

This is a stretch of games coming up where the Bengals need to take care of business. They need to be at least 7-2 going into the three straight road games in November.

I think we bounce back with a healthy Tez out there.

Bengals 45

Panthers 20

24-23 Bengals win.

Patriots laid out the blueprints of how to beat this D so teams will be scoring 20+ now. I think the Bengals will run the ball and control the clock in this one.

Bengals 24

Panthers 17

I like the Football Outsiders DVOA rankings on the offensive and defensive lines for this:

Bengals O Line: 8th Run Blocking and 1st Pass Blocking

Panthers D Line: 16th Against the Run and 15th Against the Pass

Panthers O Line: 29th Run Blocking and 23rd Pass Blocking

Bengals D Line: 24th Against the Run and 19th Against the Pass

45-20 is a fuging joke. That ginger qb is a joke. This game will be a 3 point game. Not a blowout like that. Dalton is always good for atleast one INT a game. If we force him to make mistakes we win.

He's thrown 1 this year.

the bengals are a top 3 team in this league… we are not even top 10. they have every right to predict large win margins.

This year has been pretty weird. I don't think any team in the NFL has the right to predict large margin wins.

Its anybody's game this year.

Truth is that we need to show we can beat a team on the road that is favored to beat us before we can act indignant when opposing fans predict a big victory. I surely hope we get to do that in 2 days. I for one liked the feeling that we could beat anyone last year. I would like to recapture it from here on out.

Ok im sorry but are the Bengals really that great? Yes they are a very solid team, yes they havent lost a home game in ages, but the way every single expert is picking against us giving us 0 chance, you would think we are playing a team on the same level of the 85 bears or something, or playing Seattle at Seattle. Im honestly waay more scared of the Packers at lambeu then I am the Bengals to be perfectly honest. I just dont get why everyone, including some on here are crowning the Bengals as the 85 Bears and we are going to get stomped, despite AJ Green is out.

    • Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
