Godfrey took a pay cut so he's a team player. That's really the only positive thing i can say about him.

CJ was getting stopped dead in his tracks on long developing pass plays. CJ was told during the game to use a bull rush and contain Rogers in the pocket due to the fact that the DT were getting great push early in the game. CJ's bull rush was a total failure, and he stopped rushing the passer after his intial push failed, which gave Rogers plenty of time. CJ was either totally exhausted, injured, or doesn't care anymore.

How did he make the final roster over Josh Thomas? I know Thomas wasn't spectacular but Godfrey is pure garbage.

Also Edwards starting playing really terrible single blocked, and our interior pass rush went down hill as the game progressed.

I forgot about Thomas, he would definitely do a better job covering right now at CB than Godfrey. Godfrey just cant cover at all and have no idea what they see him in practice to play the position.

To me it looks like he is one of the few DBs who go aggressively to the ball carrier.. he's not that quick and is not great man on man. Harper, Decoud were just as bad or worse.

Yea he's awful, if he sees the field next week I may not even watch, because we'll have no chance. Why does he try he try to do a flying forearm tackle whenever he engages a defender. He literally did a 180 wiff on Lacy today, grabbed his waist and spun around him like a stripper pole

Getting Bene back will be huge. He has been awesome this year. Godfrey would start way to far off the ball then fake like he was blitzing every play and then be out of position and get burned.
