It's nice that the powers that be can now see what everyone else has been saying for a long, long time.  We needed an OT before Gross retired.  After Gross retired, we desperately needed TWO OTs.

I think injuries are getting used as an excuse for Bell, when the reality is just that he was never as good as they hoped.

The excuse is, they tied up all their cap room in a player that isn't seeing the field because of a domestic abuse trial.  The result is starting an undrafted free agent at LT who wouldn't even make the roster of most teams in the NFL.

I hope the injuries he is referencing are of the mental variety or maybe even wounds to the psyche.

 

Its the only injury that makes since.  None other could produce those results other than epilepsy or maybe narcolepsy.  Either way its still neurological.
