Would you rather...

...the Panthers make the playoffs, even if it means everybody on the coaching staff gets retained?

OR

...see the team lose enough games in embarrassing enough fashion to force staff changes?

If you're completely honest, how would you rather this season play out?

Absolutely option #1. If we can make the playoffs with this offensive line and like $35M going to players not playing I think we'll be able to improve a shitload in the offseason and be an elite team. Plus I don't see how anybody can turn down first time ever back to back winning seasons, back to back playoffs and back to back division titles.

Yep. It's time for me to take a break from the huddle.

When these types of threads start, it brings the idiots out in the masses.

How anyone could pull against the team is beyond me.

If the team makes the playoffs, it would mean that the staff has seen the mistakes they've been making and would justify them getting more time.

I think we've already seen enough embarrassing loses due to our retarded coaching staff that would/should prompt any GM to pull the plug and re-organize. And when I say re-organize I mean fire this asshat SHula immediately and unfortunately Fire Rivera. I really hoped Ron would grow in to the HC position but he clearly has not.

Two things to consider:

- We could conceivably make the playoffs without a winning record

- Would you still feel the same if things turned out like SPV described?

i don't want the team to lose, but looking at how they played in the past month against good teams, there is nothing that says that we don't make a quick exit if we do stumble in.

getting into the playoffs is very possible, saints have a hard schedule and we have it easy. however, we don't face easy teams in the playoffs. i never want to see the seahawks come to BOA stadium again and that's what the first round would probably be.

nothing will click with this team. shula will NEVER "get it", and I have my doubts about Ron as well.

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
