Hardy, Kalil, DeAngelo, Stewart, Bell, Charles Johnson: Who will be back next year?

Hardy - Sadly, I believe Hardy walks...

Kalil - Surprise cut

D-Will - Gets the "Godfrey treatment", he'll take a pay cut and try to hang on

Stewart - Stays

Bell - Gone, even with lack of depth at T

Charles Johnson - Stays, but takes a paycut

No way DWill is here. Next year we finally can cut him. No reason to think he gets some special treatment. Old and bad is a bad combo

Players so very rarely take paycuts, I think that you may need to re-look at your predictions, especially for DWill and CJ.

I also see no reason why Charles Johnson would want to stay here with a paycut. DeAngelo...I can see that. He's old, he's completely integrated into Charlotte, might not be picked up elsewhere. CJ? Someone else will be willing to throw money his way if he were cut and I've never gotten the sense he's integrated into Charlotte like DeAngelo or, for another example, TD have.

With D-Will -- I believe he stays since he's a Panther favorite/likeable guy, on his last legs so he won't earn anything in FA, and our franchise has a bad habit of holding onto players too long so I believe we will give him every opportunity to remain a Panther.

With CJ -- Upon further review, we will probably have to cut him

I think you are drastically over valuing being "cool" on Facebook.

That isn't enough to keep a meh, old, expensive RB. Especially once financially there can finally be positive seen in the cut

And that was the Hurney appraoch keeping HIS old dudes. Notice how quick the NYGs broke up Earth, Wind and Fire. That trio was in existence last time Double Trouble was relevant. Dave ain't got no loyalty to Hurney guys. Hurney also wasn't a football guy so it makes sense he put value in other things

New word out of the building is that DWill isn't nearly as liked by the team as he is by the fans.

He can either sign with another team after this season, or fulfill his lifelong dream of attending every WWE wrestling match next season with Gary Barnidge.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
