Cam's twitter was hacked because his password was "Camnewton1"

I'm pretty sure he didn't make that account, nor pick the password.

He doesn't run the account obviously, but I can't imagine a professional PR person whose job it is to run someone's twitter account would pick that password. If they did, I really hope hires gets someone else lol

So you think Cam picked the password when he was creating the twitter account? I seriously doubt Cam created the twitter account, and you pick the password when you create the account. The PR person created the twitter account imo, and that would mean he/she also picked the password.

You know it could be that Cam let one of his personal friends or family members set up and run the account for a small fee. And maybe this person was not internet savvy, but they needed the money and Cam had a soft spot for them. That would explain the easy to hack password.

    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
