Is there any chance we could trade D-will for anything ?  Maybe the Raiders who haven't won a game would give us something in a trade .

Heck yea.  Just did the math, below is what we could get for DWill.

DWilli and our next years 2nd and 3rd, for their 2nd.

Call Reggie.

Need to get rid if Williams bc he takes reps away from whoever else is here. Bottom line.

Need youth. Watch any game. Raiders last night....do we want Jones Drew wasting reps the Murray kid could be getting? Williams is old. Old is proven to be a bad thing at 30 plus.

From a pure playing time aspext he needs to go so we get youth on the field

Raiders won last night. They won bc they FINALLY let there YOUNG RB start to get some early work. Huge difference. What that RB did in a quarter was enough for them to sit on all game.

They spent most of the season letting there older RBs (MJD and nothing but a name McFadden) waste reps.

Mr. Scot I've done that before. Run a search

You were asked for examples before.  You didn't provide them then either.

(said you didn't have time to look them up)

Gross's own words, and the fact that he's actually still working with the Panthers organization, contradict you.

We need to give Fozzy 12-14 carries.

Nobody knows with 100 percent surety that Gross would have retired if Gettleman had left Gross and his original contract alone prior to last season.  He may have retired. He may have stayed.  I still believe that there was a good chance that he would have played it out.  Once he started thinking in the other direction, it was pretty much a fait accompli.

But there's no actual evidence to support it.

There is evidence refuting it.

Believe it if you want, but it's pure speculation with nothing to back it up.

No real evidence refuting it either. Just a man saying that he is enjoying his retirement after the fact, and that he has no regrets and made the right decision.

But, that's neither here nor there.  He is gone now, and the problem is that G-man erroneously thought that Bell could replace him, or at least be an OK bridge.  We all see how that is panning out.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
