Bye Bye Antoine Cason...

You're reaching on those.  Technically Fernando Velasco could be called a 'contributor' this season too.

You can say this was a bad free agent season without calling it the worst ever.  When you go for the cheap hyperbole, you undercut your argument.

Cheap hyperbole is every SMF argument.

only ignorance is that cops continue to take poor young black lives.

Oh, how this low hanging fruit you provide looks so sweet.  It's bittersweet, thought, because while full of juicy bits to chew up and spit back out at you I am limited in my ability to drop a school upon your head to correct your sheer stupidity.

bring this over to Tinderbox, lets dance.  I promise I'll be gentle and won't stomp on your toes.  Cops kill less blacks then blacks kill blacks.  There is no evidence and facts to support police kill more blacks then whites.  However, there is loads of data and fact that support black crime is exponentially higher then other races.

Come on over to tinderbox...

Shouldve been done a month ago.

This....what are people so upset about.

Only on the Huddle.....bitch about his play all year and about how he sucks.  Then, bitch when he is cut.

I am beginning to wonder how many adults are really left posting on this board.

No one is upset he is cut.

People are upset that a standard of competency seems to be enforced on the players but not the coaching staff..... And I agree.

2 questions from an outsider looking in:

Do Rivera and Gettleman

a) Have the ability to hold themselves responsible?

B) Have the mental capacity to understand what that means?

The little I know about Rivera comes from the most conservative team last year to a few gambles that paid off then calling himself Riverboat Ron before regressing to absolute full retard.

And Gettleman seems like a HS Team Manager attempting to line up his fantasy team from reports pulled from SB Nation.

This move leaves only more questions about why this organization use the players it brings in and why when they fail to capitalize on those players and their talents they are not held accountable for that failure.

    • As a Penn State alum I was excited to see everyone return, truth is I think we came into the year a bit over confident coming off last season. Had a slow start and poor depth at LB once Rojas went down, and once Franklin was fired the season was essentially over. From a character perspective DDS is a 10/10 guy, hardworking and incredibly loyal. Nobody expected him to return for his senior year, but he did to try win us a Natty. He also played the entire bowl game this year against Clemson which is rare to see as a high end senior prospect.
    • Both of New England's TDs were scored when Maye went into "wing it and fling it" mode. As Deac said, when he did run, he ran well.  And, while some of the criticism of Sam Darnold may be warranted, Super Bowl history is littered with QBs who didn't light up the scoreboard but still came away with championships. Matter of fact, ever seen the list of Super Bowl winning QBs who didn't even throw a TD pass? Namath SB3, Griese SB8, McMahon SB20, Aikman SB28, Elway SB32, Roethlisberger SB40, Peyton Manning SB 50, Brady SB53.
    • Nope. Don't do that. We need an infusion of talent, not going all in one prospect. Especially a pass rusher. We already drafted two in the 2nd last year and they usually take 2-3 years of development. We should honestly try to add an impact vet there in free agent and focus elsewhere in the draft. We don't need more young developmental talent there. We have that. We need someone who can step in and add an impact day one.
