ok now ask yourself if he got injured in Philly could he have seriously performed like he did last Sunday? I doubt it.

Yes, according to the armchair MDs the pain begins to subside after about two weeks. Given a bye week and the game in Minnesota it is entirely possible. He wasn't hit often and was able gain yardage without being touched on the runs he did have.

So the answer to your question is it is possible.

Tony Romo says it occurs in football, it's caused by a shitty offensive line.

Tony's is a rare occurance. By judging every doctor who has talked over the last day, it happened in the car wreck.

If your question is could it have happened before? Sure. But it's also theoretically possible that he slipped into a worm hole and went to another dimension where it happened.

Occam's Razor says it's the car wreck.

He was in a goddamn car accident where he rolled his truck like like 4 times. I think it's safe to say that's what caused the broken bones in his back...especially with how healthy and spry he looked against the Saints. He looked the best he has all season.

Im sure you could look at a few players on the team and have back compressions....

This might be short term in a football scale but when you are 55 that poo comes back to haunt you. Its insane how people still do not accept the long term health conditions of football players. What 78 percent had extreme brain damage they examined? Its rare to see someone make it out pretty unscathed. Strahan comes to mind, Randy Moss, a few still have pretty clean minds.
