Didn't the Texans almost make the AFC Championship game with their 3rd string QB a couple years ago? Anything can happen in the playoffs, no team should be counted out. Arians is a heckuva coach and will have his boys ready to play, we need to be just as ready or we may be sitting here next week asking ourselves what went wrong.

There 24th in total defense... They have gotten progressively worse this season.

Total defense is bad Guage for defenses. This is a good defense that has been hurt statistically because offense has been bad. We will be lucky to get 20+ points.

But our defense has chance to shut them down

There defense has been steadily declining as of late...

 

17-13 without their special teams scores....so no they beat us by holding us to 13 points with their athletic defense.

 

Their..THEIR defense has been on a steady decline due to injuries and a terrible offense...mostly 3rd string QB and 3 and outs.

Playoff games are tough to win and we saw last year. But I like facing Arizona more than Seattle and hopefully the panthers will keep playing at a high level. The conversation this week will be how we don't deserve to be in the playoffs and how bad we are. I hope we spank that booty and show them we belong in the playoffs. I really wish people would stop drawing serious comparisons between 2008 and now.

 

Yes, it's a home playoff game that we are probably the favorite to win. But in pretty much every other way, this game is different from the one in 08.

what I was saying is that when we played we were seen as the better team. And I believe we were. no one expected them to win it all or even beat us. They were considered one of the weakest teams in the playoffs. And not only that, we were playing at home and we were undefeated at home that season. We were definitely the favorites for that matchup

They have allowed the 6th fewest passing TDs

They have the 6th most INTs

Yardage stats, which the NFL uses as their official ranking system.....is the worst way to judge something.

They are pretty good. Not elite. They have big names. But throwing just that 28th yardage ranking out there.....leaves a lot unsaid
