Big Up's to Gettelmen

WOW!!

You can have all the ingredients in the pantry, but you still have to have a cook who is willing to experiment. Seems to me, Riveria only goes deep into the pantry when the regularly used ingredients are completely gone. Same with Shula and the play calling. When our back are against the wall, he gets creative.

Oh, NOW y'all want to praise him.

Where those FIRE GETTLEMAN posters?

poo man I never posted garbage like that.  Sure I've been on the fire Shula train for awhile but besides his release of Steve Smith the guy has done nothing but bring quality talent to the roster.  In a few more seasons after getting time to develop the players he's brought in I can only imagine how good the team will be.

his plan? he planned the whole NFCS to suck? Highly doubt it.Harper suck, decoud suck, avant suck, cason suck, the "oline is fine", Kugbila... we really got lucky we had the perfect storm at our low point.I can hardly credit G-man for that.

LMAO

Thank to DG we went from 12-4 to sub .500 and win a division by being the least shitty of the shitty teams in the worst division in the NFL. The man is a frigging genius.

there was a poll after we were at our lowest. point in the season. 99 percent wanted to fired Rivera, 99 percent wanted to keep Gettles. You can't fire Gettles after his second season or no GM would want to come here. We're stuck with him for a few more years. Not sure if it will be a good thing or bad thing but time will tell. As for getting scrub starters on a scrub team with a losing record, hope that isn't his crowning achievement

Look what G-man has brought in through FA and the draft in the last two years.  From my past experience as a Panthers fan and the talent level we usually get I'd saw G-man is a genius.  We used to hit on our 1st round pics and a few low ones here an there.  Forget free agents.  We always heard about those diamonds in the rough stories and every year in training camp I'd wonder if this guy or that one could be one of those guys.

G-man is making it rain talent.  And fixing the salary cap in the process.  Imagine what it will be like when we're not rebuilding.

You definitely were one of the guys going on and on about how he screwed up by drafting Kony Ealy (caling him Everette Brown no less) instead of Morgan Moses (how's he doing by the way?).

I also cussed Hurney out about the Luke pick..

You see as a fan I can question FO moves and admit mistakes. . That's what being a fan is..

Sorry for you that you don't have the balls to disagree with FO moves and admit you were wrong..

PS: I'd still would have taken a OT or another WR over Kony hindsight 20 20 and all.

ealy has a sack in each of his last four games i believe… with the way the hardy deal went down, and frank alexander's foibles, this pick may have quietly been the most incredible move of all, and arguably the difference between making the playoffs and not making them.

Don't blame Gettlman on bringing the talent, which he did.

Blame Rivera on the implementation and execution.

Fans, killed GMan weeks ago, cause the team was sucking.

However, now the team is doing well/performing better when Rivera decided play these guys and their return from injury, so you gotta give Gman his due praise. It's that simple, yes.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
