Our Coaches BETRAYED Us - From Seawhawk Nation - CONSPIRACY

Yup, only real fans here. No bandwagoners. Carry on.

It's like every argument you have with a Seahawks fan they have to bring up something with a stadium sellout or noise. Like wtf? And considering their stadium only seats 67,000 while ours (even in a small market) seats 73,000 is laughable. It's like they're proud to sellout one of the smallest stadiums in the NFL, while the Panthers have been doing the same for years with an even smaller market and 6,000 person-bigger stadium.

Damn, that interception is still hard to believe three days later.

If Butler only breaks up the pass, it's likely Seattle gets in the next down and wins back to back Super Bowls and we never hear the end of how great Russell Wilson and Peter Carroll are.

I think the big man upstairs was doing America a favor with this one. Props, Big Guy.

He had to have a little bit of fun with us before though with the Kearse Helmet Catch 2.0... like here we go again.  The Patriots are about to lose another Super Bowl to a lolworthy fluke play.

Then he's like "Lol nah, I'm just fuging with you" and the Butler interception happens.

just remember...the words of one "fan" doesn't mean it's a representation of all fans!

I don't like the call, I'll never like the call but it doesn't mean any distrust to the staff etc.

Yeah, it was a bad call.  Did PC fall on the sword for RW?

I can understand it to a degree.  They had 3 plays left (2nd, 3rd, and 4th downs) and one timeout with 26 seconds.  If you run and it is stuffed, you have to take the timeout.   Now it is 3rd down with 20 seconds left.  If you run it and get stuffed again, there is no guarantee you get another play off--so you may have been under the impression that you have to pass on 3rd down when it is expected.

Me?  I think there is no way Lynch is denied on 2 consecutive plays.  Secondly, if I were to pass it on second down, it would have been play action and the pass would have gone to the back of the end zone.

Still, imagine 40 years ago if the Houston Oilers were in the same position with Earl Campbell.  They would not have thrown the ball.

The play looks bad in hindsight but before the interception the stats for this year for passes within the two yard line was like 66 Tds and no interceptions. Also if they would have ran and not got the touchdown time would have ran out and they would be out of time outs which means on third down they would have to score or throw an incomplete pass otherwise they could run out of time.

I also hate that people aren't saying Butler just made a hell of a play instead of it was a stupid call. Butler wasn't handed the ball instead he had to make a great play by avoiding a pick and then preventing a catch and on top of that he was able to catch the ball instead of just tip it.

bahahahhahaha

personally, i would have handed it off to lynch. however, the playcall wasn't all that bad... a pick route against man coverage usually works pretty damn well. browner jammed his man HARD at the line and butler made read it the whole way. wilson's ball placement was pretty much the exact opposite of where you want it to be.

You people aren't thinking outside the box. Although there may not be any conspiracy associated with the call but it does show the level of influence the play caller have over the game. Just pause a little and think a bit.

    • Well there goes the bullied victim spiel.
    • Not sure who said it first, but Tepper is the correct answer. Still, I'm gonna go with Kasay keeping it inbounds. If, you subscribe to the butterfly effect version of time travel consequences.... When we win SBXXXVIII everybody's lives change: Moose never breaks his leg, We win it all again in 05. Tommy Jone is unknown and Peppers stays home, Champs once more 2008. No artificial pig heart turning JR into a creepy weirdo, no lockout, no Clausen. Fox and Jake ride off into the sunset on their own terms. No 2-14, no #1 pick. But, no laptop, no Blinn, 3 years behind The Golden Calf of Bristol, we still get Cam. JR let's him grow his locs like he always wanted, Smitty sees Cam in a new light. Dreads swinging, (and Smitty with his 3 Lombardis behind him) Cam is old enough to get those calls. No Manning narrative, Cotchery TD, PI against Talib on Philly Brown, 10,000 RTP calls and Kony Ealy SB50 MVP. No Jeans Fridays, no Tepper. KB doesn't slip on his own meatsweat mid-route in SD, Cam becomes the 1st QB to win 10 straight SBs. Retiring after being elected 47th president of the US of A, Cam ushers in the Permanent Proletarian Revolution across the globe, Xi Jinping bows in awe. "ẄøŘƙƐṛ§ őF ŧĤə ŵØRłð, ŮŊÏŦƐ!!!"
