When Dante Wesley smoked that punt returner for Tampa.. The dirtiest panther play I can remember.

Vinny Testaverde. His first game off the couch and he throws a huge TD to Smitty, and beat the Cardinals.

I just remembered somebody stole my original Panther sweatshirt, the ones that were printed right after the announcement we were getting the team. Thanks for reminding me...

 

 

It was a cheap screen print, but it was the first Panther gear I ever bought and now somebody is probably washing their car with it...................FUG!

The stadium shook on that sack.  It was marvelous.  At that moment we knew we were gonna win and not just win we were gonna crush Vick.

Can't remember the year but we Jake at QB at the time.  We were playing the Bucs at home.  I was at the game.

 

It's 2nd down and there's a tv time out so all the players are just standing there on the field ready to run the next play.

 

There's a fan of the game promotion of some kind and they pick a person in the stands as a winner.  Back then they thought it would be cool to give a live microphone to the fan to say a few words.

 

This fan then proceeds to talk some serious smack to the Tampa bay defense talking about how we're going to kick there ass.

 

Jack gets sacked on the next two plays and we punt.

 

Still won the game though.  LOL.  And after that no one ever gets handed a live mic anymore.

One with Jake I'm surprised no one's mentioned yet...

The time he took a cheap shot from Lance Briggs, stay down for a second or two, then got up from the turf pounding his chest and swearing like a sailor.

We had looked lackluster to that point in the game, but from that play on we looked aggressive and wound up finishing the Bears.

He did something similar in the Super Bowl after the pass to Moose. IIRC, a Pats player bumped him after the play and he turned and pointed at him and shouted something with a fiery look in his eyes.
