yeah, but who is the contender? unless he just wants to dominate Carolina 2 times a year, which really can't blame him now.

i dunno it just seems like something that would happen

it seems like we can't part with a star player without them deep dicking us the very next year.  it happened with peppers and steve smith.

Because it's information many have refused to hear for about 8 months now.

I think its more about not hearing it from the Panthers. Bill is an EXCELLENT reporter but I try to never jump the gun before its official. Do I want Hardy back? Of course. Is it likely? Absolutely not.

I agree why so much doubt on Voth? He's credible in my book.

It's not so much doubt on Voth, no question he's been solid for the past year.  It's just that nobody knows and it's still nothing more than spectulation.  Speculation from Voth, speculation from whoever his source is on the team (if Gettleman is giving out info like this at this juncture, he's doing it wrong...and even if the info DID come from Gettleman, anything's possible.  Something could change between now and March 10-when Hardy would actually OFFICIALLY be gone), and speculation from people on this forum.  Few of us will deny that the chances of him staying are remote at best, but people passing off speculation as official new is misleading.

It's not speculation when the decision makers on Hardy tell you flat out he won't be here. At that point, its reporting.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
