Our O line played extremely well down the stretch, I'm not sold its a huge need.

We got rid of the weak link in Bell, I don't care what anyone says, Oher was a great pick up and is a upgrade. Over the last several games of the season Stew was pounding it on the ground, Cam was being protected well. Remmers and Norwell looked very good and our O line is still young.

I think people only remember the images of Cam getting beat up early in the year but forget just how good our O line looked the last part of the season. If I remember correctly, Remmers played very well yet people want to replace him. I really think we need to focus on WR heavily in the draft and we might just be set at O line

We really didn't beat any decent teams the last 6 games(that I can remember). Yes we finally have two studs at guard and a guy who shined at RT after basically doing.nothing in the NFL. We need a LT, and not some journeyman guy. I have faith in the staff that this will be addressed, along with the other holes.

Yea people keep saying things like our oline , def, offense, etc got better down the stretch when we simply played terrible teams down the stretch. I thought if we had played philly, Pitt, Baltimore, etc at the end of the season rather than the beginning the game results woulda been basically the same. The only thing I saw legit improvement in is the secondary. We definitely need o-line help, pass rush, WR, and safety help.

Our O-line is extremely tenuous.  LT is arguably the biggest need that we have.  I thought the same thing last year, and it largely proved out.  Now the epiphany of Norwell and Remmers makes me feel a little better---and we may be rolling with Remmers at LT when the season starts---but if we don't draft an LT in this draft, I am going to think that G-man has a screw loose.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
