First Kidney Stone

I walked into work this morning and it hit me all at once. It's the most agonizing thing that I've ever been through, and I've had a dislocated tailbone. It's too much information, but I've puked 6 times from the pain.

How have you guys dealt with your kidney stones?

No... and I hope I never have to. Most painful experience a male can ever endure, from what I hear. Dan Patrick went through it last week- he was just describing his experience on his show.

 

Drink LOTS of water. Hoping the best for ya.

I've luckily never had one. Friends that did say it brought them down to the fetal position.

The saying it's the closest thing men will experience to child birth is probably accurate.

Dialudid is your friend. Narcotics &drink plenty of water.

I've had too many to count. Some pass rather easily some will take weeks. If your throwing up from pain the next step is the ER.

I got some pain meds that they don't drug test for and only legal in the third world.

I've been getting them since I was 11, you may want to get that checked out because I've never had pain anywhere near that.

 

I had a kidney infection that was a result of a stone I had that put me in a hospital for a week though, and that hurt like a mofo so get it check out you do have an infection.

only have had one so far and it kicked the ever living crap out of me just like you said, almost instantly.

 

Went to the ER for some morphine actually and it didn't do a damn thing for the pain.  Can't remember the 2nd shot they gave me but that finally made it work.

I've had two, both sent me to the ER. Worst pain ever for me. Second shot of morphine was needed to touch the pain. My nurse said she'd given birth three times and would do it over again over having a kidney stone.

Less soda, more beer.

Had one last year but it seemed to work itself out after a few hours. Pain was awful.
