Panthers show interest in RB John Crockett

Great. A player that won't help us.

Sarcasm?

Not sure if you're for real or not, but this kid was a beast last season.  1,994 rushing yards, 21 touchdowns in '14.  Great vision, has speed, an extra gear to turn on the jets, ellusive and an ideal size to be an every down back.  He was also a solid receiver out of the back field.

I know the school is not an SEC or Pac-12 school, but Northern Iowa is in the same conference, and that's where David Johnson went. Johnson should go before Crockett, but I could see Crockett go as early as the 4th, but more than likely 5-6 rounds.

He screams a Dave Gettleman late-round gem.

    • For this reason, BY will not play against the Packers. They will find a reason for him to stay on the bench again.
    • Well he quickly deflected the question about Rico's "almost 7 YPC." He is very polished and he transitioned well to non-answers and side steps. I can see why a guy like him was able to pull the wool over on guys like Tepper.
    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
