I like it a lot. I watch it as it airs so I won't spoil anything if you haven't caught up. But yeah, it's a lot better than I thought it'd be.

It has to have all that. If you just want him farting around like he did at the start of the pilot the show would suck now. There has to be a story.

Actually, that was the best part, when he could act like an irresponsible little kid. The bowling balls in the truck was pure genius.

I enjoyed watching at first then Phil got kind of aggravating with his pursuit of Melissa. Hopefully it balances it out now that that there's another guy on the show.

According to IMDB there's one more character they'll introduce. It's not sci-fi so we'll never know anything about the virus. I think it is what it is ... very well written comedy. Above sophomoric silliness like we saw at the start, but not on the level of a dramedy. I like it better than Better Call Saul.

Havent watched yet. It struck me as the kind of one joke comedy that could run out of steam very quickly.
