Average time to select a 1st round pick since it went to 10 minutes per 1st round pick is 7.5 minutes. That puts us on the clock at 11 PM and you should allow some time in case it goes quick.

Well we could trade down and pick earlier. .

Many times a trade isn't even announced until the other team makes it's pick, so you may not know the Panthers are taking a player when another team makes it's pick. Unlikely that we trade up in round 1 though.
