NFL says Pats guilty, and Brady knew

Recommended Posts

Wasn't it somewhat cold and wet throughout that game?

Deflated balls essentially eliminates those condictions  making it (the ball)  much easier to throw and a lot softer to catch.

While the Colts had their regulation balls bouncing off the hands of some of their WRs..or Luck seemingly not being able to get a decent grip on them.

About some Brady info:

During halftime of the Jets game, Jastremski exchanged text messages with an unidentified recipient concerning Brady‟s complaints about the game balls.

ThIs is gonna be a HUGE story for 2-3 days and then everyone will realize nothing can be done about it and no one will care anymore. They're not gonna make them give back the Lombardi. Patriots will pay a small fine and then it's back to business as usual for them and the NFL.

At least it will make stations like WFNZ (which is borderline unlistenable as it is) quit talking about boxing.

This is a joke.  It's 'probable' that they deliberately deflated balls.  Brady was generally aware?

That's common sense.

It took months of investigation to come to this conclusion?  This whole thing was just a waste of time, energy and money.

What...?

On January 7, 2015, eleven days before the AFC Championship Game, McNally

and Jastremski discussed how McNally would

have a “big autograph day” and

receive items autographed by Brady the following weekend, before the playoff

game against the Baltimore Ravens. McNally and Jastremski exchanged the

following text messages:

McNally: Remember to put a couple sweet pig skins ready for tom to

sign

Jastremski: U got it kid...big autograph day for you

McNally: Nice throw some kicks in and make it real special

Jastremski: It ur lucky. 11?

McNally: 11 or 11 and half kid

Of course Brady would deny knowledge of this.

Those texts are about as damning as you can get.  At least as damning against tom as the evidence was against hardy.  How it can be eased into "more probable than not that he was at least generally aware" is beyond me.

So we can expect at least a 10 game suspension for Tom, right?  Isn't this the definition of "conduct detrimental to the league?"

It goes on and on. I won't paste any more of it but it kind of paints a story of these two idiots and how they ended up doing all of this. I didn't read all of it but Brady knew they were inflating/deflating the balls but that was also their job. It's not as nefarious as one might think in parts and other parts seem kinda damning. I can see where the NFL isn't full on biblically accusing.
