and cap hell that we still have yet to fully get out from under.

after this season, that will no longer be the case. THANK GOD.

that said, this there will also be no excuse for the Front Office anymore. it is this coming offseason that we really begin to see what Gettleman is made of. i have faith, but as a Panther fan, i still have reason for pause.... .... looking at you Marty Hurndog...

obviously the super bowl has to be the worst

the worst game i've ever been to was the cardinals implosion.  it was a nightmare and one of those things that i just couldn't believe was actually happening in front of me.

2007 against the falcons was another poo game that i saw in person.  we let joey harrington drive on us like john elway for a game winning touchdown.  we were at 4-4 going in to that game and still had an outside shot at the division even though we had started delhomme, carr, and vinny testaverde by that point.  the nfc south was terrible that year and the bucs won it at 9-7.

I'd have to agree with OP on this one. The SB loss was the most devastating for sure. But after that there are 2 that are always in my mind. The Vick hydroplane game...Ughhh....I hate to think about it. And the one more recently where Cam fumbled right at the end. I think that was against the Falcons too. I've shut out most of that memory except him actually fumbling in the pile when we had it won. That was pretty brutal.

Last years Eagles and Vikings games were pretty horrid but as was said earlier, blow outs are easier to accept emotionally. The close ones...they sting.

Nakamuragate in Atlanta a few seasons ago, that game changed the entire landscape of the season and the team just never recovered and even Rivera admitted that. There a few feelings of disappointment in life that will always stick with me until the end of time and the feeling of that loss will be one of them.

In theory, it should be the Super Bowl. We played our hearts out that whole season and it was crushed, by a team that was almost certainly cheating, because they knew our brand-new signals. But knowing what we know now about the Pats, knowing their win is tainted forever, I really don't think any loss will get worse than the Arizona playoff in 2008. That loss just stung so hard after an almost perfect season.
