Artis-Payne can fill in well for Stew if/when he gets injured. Also having a healthy Tolbert aids in the run game. Would like to see us use Ginn and Philly in more end arounds like we did last year.

I think Reaves and Whittaker may find themselves on the PS if eligible, I think this year we may carry six receivers vs five, and three backs vs four as we have a bit more talent at receiver than in past seasons. Tolbert allows some flexibility in the event we lose Stewart ''in-game''.

I believe Stewart situation is going to be like Demarco Murray of 2014 with a improved OL he will set some records on NFL. Including playing all 16 games and to the Super Bowl

Tolbert will get extended, no one else in the league does what he does at this moment. Just have to figure out how Cam's contract and all the rest fall in for now.

Tolbert was a none factor last year due to numerous factors including injury. If he has another year like that I don't see us paying him.

I'm hoping for Stewart, CAP, Wegher as our RBs, Tolbert as our FB and Todman as our KR.  If SOMEONE has to get cut from those 4, I'm looking at Todman.  I think CAP and Wegher both have experience at returns, and KR is much less important than PR which is Ginn.

I don't know if he did in JUCO or not, but I'm pretty sure CAP wasn't part of the return game at Auburn.

...It all looks good on paper...what we need is someone to emerge like a Fred Lane type back, hardnose running, wreckless abandon, fight for every yard to complement Stew...we cant discount Tolbert now that hes healthy, hes just a bigger version of Stew....Course, how is shulong going to get them in a position to excel...

If only looking at what they bring as a RB, maybe.

Throw in what Todman does as a KO returner and I think Todman wins out.

Will be a good battle at camp though.

Sucks that by the time CAP reaches his first contract in free market (not including if he got a Franchise Tag) that he is almost on the wrong side of age for a RB (which makes me feel old cause me and Stew are the same age)

Very much disagree. Tolbert is an expensive short yardage rb. There are better options.
