Bulletproof Coffee

Recommended Posts

I have been hearing a lot about bulletproof coffee lately. Apparently it is coffee brewed with grass fed butter and MCT oil added to it. Supposedly it does many things including increased clarity, appetite suppression, added energy.

Has anyone tried it for any amount of time?

One Google search and apparently it's either very healthy or very bad for you.

Sounds about right. Thanks Internet.

I would like to try though.

I ordered some MCT Oil off of Amazon. I am going to just add some to my coffee every morning and see whats what. Its basically concentrated coconut oil, which on the list of crap I consume on a daily basis should be one of the healthier things. If it just helps with a decrease in appetite it will be worth it. I have read where people have lost 10 pounds from just taking a teaspoon full in the mornings and not doing anything else.

Girlfriend was just telling me the other day that if you take a mouthful of coconut oil and swish it in your mouth as long as you can, your next dentist visit will be a miraculous difference from the previous one.

I am going to order some as well and give it a shot. If you and I both die, we will know it probably wasn't good for us.

Which one did you buy?

I used to tell women the same thing, but it wasn't coconut oil.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
