Panthers WILL beat the Eagles

Panthers get the ball first. Hand off to Dwille for 3 yrds against 8 in the box. Another handoff to Dwille trying to go outside for 2yrs leaving us 3rd and long. Play action fake to Dwill and errant off-the-mark high throw by Jake to Smitty for 3 and out.

Eagles return kickoff for nice 35yrd gain. Play action bomb for 40yrds opening up the run. Screen to Westbrook for another 30yrds as Panthers miss tackle after tackle. Ball on the 18. Qback option and McNabb has all day to decide where he wants to go to in the end zone. Pep double teamed and get no pressure. After what seems for eternity McNabb throws an easy score to his tight end in the end zone.

This sets the tone for what will be a dissappointingly long day as the Eagles expose our weak Dline and McNabb picks us apart and Westbrook eats us alive with his elusiveness and our weak tackling. Jake shows us that he never really recovered from Tommy John and just isn't the same anymore with is inconsistent throws and lack of accuracy. Dwille shows us flashes of brilliance but it's not enough for what will be a dissappointed and long Panthers season.

LET THE HATE BEGIN!! :P

eagles oline is in pretty bad shape right now. that may be the thing that makes the difference. if our dline can take advantage of it we could come out on top.
I agree with you here. Their o-line definitely isn't playing as well as they've been expecting.

Looking forward to this game. The season is finially here!:D

Bottom line is if our offense comes to play we will be competitive in any game...if DWill and whoever the second back are put on a normal performance and Jake and Smitty can get loose, games will be close and we have a chance to come out on top. Basically we will need to win Big 12 style... a whole lotta offense and timely defense

If we can stay on the right side of the turnover margin we have a legitimate shot at winning the game due to the style of our offense. QB pressure is essential but we need to watch out for those screens and check downs to their RBs. If Beason plays he'll be all over that.

    • I would say that he's pulling things out of his ass to get people to visit his site.
    • Yep. I was hoping for and calling for a day three guy. But I didn’t research the position to say if we should or should‘t have jumped at a particular guy at a particular spot.    And everything I read said it was a poor draft for RBs depth wise. I guess when Seattle takes a backup RB in the 1st, that kind of backs that up.    I definitely think we should keep 4 running backs and if King can play well enough then keep him too.    I believe I heard Canales say we are a running team (talking about drafting a WR he will be needing to block as well as catch). Well if we are gonna be a running team by identity we don’t need to stock the WR room to overflowing. If one room has to sacrifice, it should not be the RB room given our circumstances.
    • If there's a pattern I'm definitely picking up from Dan and company is a philosophy of making trades where we try not to sacrifice the number of draft picks we have by day's end. In other words, we're not giving up three picks for one, or giving up a future pick to make a pick today. And even if we give up something at the start, we make trades later to make up for that initial loss. Here's how it stacked up for 2026: How we started: 19, 51, 83, 119, 158, 159, 200 How we ended: 19, 49, 83, 129, 144, 151, 227 (no future picks sacrificed) Ultimately, we moved up two spots in the second to ensure we got someone we coveted, gave up a few spots for our fourth round pick, but then had better picks in the 5th (and got really good value out of them), and had a worse 7th rounder which isn't that big of a loss anyways.  At this point, we can question who they draft, but they're pretty good maneuvering across the draft board.
