This is Panther related because what other fan base could get their team to give a local player a shot in camp? That's us and we can do it. Take to social media and let's start a movement. Chris Kroeger with WFNZ is on board and we want to make this happen.

Meet Keith Holliday.  Keith is a 6'4" 225 lb. defensive back from NC A&T. He's played the last 3 seasons in the arena league circuit. When the Panthers cut Chris Houston he tweeted them his film and event told Kroeger he'd play for free. He just wants a shot.

@HollidayS3ason is his Twitter handle. Here's his YoutTube video: goo.gl/nzxL39

If this doesn't belong here, please move it. Let's do this guys!

He's a camp body..a 6'4" 225 camp body that moves reasonably well. Why not? It'll help us pass the time before the regular season.

I'd rather add someone who may have a shot of cracking an NFL roster.

Empty roster spot, local guy, nice pr aspect, decent camp story, plus there's an outside shot that he lights it up and makes the cut (as much a chance as anyone else floating around out there right now). And if he doesn't make it, the team has lost nothing because it's unlikely anyone brought in at this stage Will make the roster.

Cannot see a reason not to bring him in.

    • I had everything saved on an old email address and my computer crashed and could not be revived.  I tried reviving it, then stumbled on one I was going to create several years ago...So I am using it instead.  My fault--did not keep the email and forgot password--
    • Rasheed Walker for Kris Jenkins Jr.is what i am actually referring to in that particular post  all those #'s you are referring to are athletic #'s & Monroe Freeling had or has an impressive combination of size & raw athletiscm & it has nothing do with his size or athelticsm that is preventing him from being a day 1 starter in the NFL technique is where he struggled at the NFL combine & not only scouts but analysts alike also viewed him as more of a developmental type of player rather than a day 1 starter  go take a look at Will Campbell transition from the SEC to the NFL another first round LT that was drafted #4 overall by the New England Patriot,s.Will Campbell was a three year starter at  LSU & was thought to be one of if not the very best LT's in the SEC  & compare his SEC carrer to his rookie season in the NFL? just because you played good in the SEC at LT does nescarrily mean you are ready to start at LT in the NFL day 1 & or your rookie season  & one last thing i think you are jumping to conclusion & somehow assuming that i do not like Monroe Freeling ?which could not be further from the truth .what i do not like is the idea starting a player who is not ready ...just saying
    • I'd 10x rather play the NFC North than NFC West.
