how young is too young to take your kid to a panthers game?

My daughter turned two in May, and I know she's still to young for the game experience, but I've also seen some little-ass kids hanging out at the endzone seats collecting touchdown footballs from Cam. I have always thought five or six is a decent benchmark, as much for the other fans in the stadium as for the kid (no one wants to be stifled by sitting next to a toddler (same reason I refuse to bring my kid into a bar to eat.)

I'm curious what the thoughts are on this.

If you know who you're sitting next to or near and if they aren't drunken retards I'd say 3 or 4 would probably be fine, but be prepared for anything that could possibly happen to cause you to miss part of or all of the game.

I've got a 4 year old who wants to go, but I can't imagine taking either of my boys until they're 10.  I will take them to preseason but not regular season.  Throw out the fact of trying to get them to sit through a game without wanting to leave or spend the whole time getting concessions, and you still are left with the crazy factor.  BoA is a much tamer environment than most NFL Stadiums (good and bad), but it still is an environment I wouldn't want young kids in.  Most fans are alright, but still there are some (full disclosure... like me in my 20's) I would not have to explain to my kids (and ultimately what they repeat to my wife).

It depends on who you're sitting around and your child's temperament.  I took my daughter to a game knowing she might want to leave at any minute.  Thankfully, she loves football, and she's stayed for the entire game all 3 times ice taken here.

She'll be 4 in October, and I plan on taking her to 3-4 games this year.

Wow- I am truly impressed.  Maybe I need to rethink my plan.  I took my wife's (much) younger brother a few years ago when he was 11 and am basing a lot of my experience on that

Depends on why you are taking them, for you or for them.

I took mine too early and he climbed on the rails the entire game not paying attention to the game at all.  The 6 yr old mark might be best.  Each kid is different, nobody can make that call for you really

Ask yourself this question. At what age am I not going to turn around and say to a stranger at a sporting event "hey! don't use language like that in front of my kid!" That's the age you should consider bringing your kid to a game.

driving with me has prepared her for anything

      I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

      Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
