Deangelo Williams throwing shade at Panther fans?

Just from what I've seen, observed and heard, as far as attitude/treating people with respect, running backs are generally the biggest assholes. Quarterbacks, OL, TE, DT and defensive backs are usually much cooler to deal with.

Barry Sanders is apparently amazing to everyone he meets.... but of course he is the GOAT.

winner has a thousand fathers and loser is an orphan............

BTW...........what the hell does "shade" mean ??

Basically being passive aggressive, usually in public.

For example, you might say ESPN reporter David Newton was "throwing shade" at Cam Newton by writing "Russell Wilson showed Cam Newton what a franchise quarterback looks like".

Not sure that a guy that completely shunned the fans for the past 2 full years has the right to make comparisons.

They didn't call him a diva for nuthin.

/thread

No poo the fans are different, they don't know how big of a dick he is yet.  To the social media lurkers that think he's such a swell guy... you need a big dose of reality.  It's pretty well known that he pays someone to control a huge majority of his social media accounts.  Whoever that person is, should be very well compensated, because they are a total boss at what they do.  Get him outside of an event that isn't on his "schedule," and it's fairly evident what kind of person he really is.  Diva, dick, etc., whatever you want to call it.

I would actually say that it is more about passive-aggressively making a point with a well-veiled insult.

The Steelers have had 82 years to develop a strong fan base. In comparison the Panthers were born yesterday. I don't see that much of a problem with what he said anyway. Was he supposed to say 'no comment'? Why do we expect every player who moves on to get the warm fuzzies about their previous employer?
