Ginn still made plays.

Lafell on the other hand flat out admitted to the media in the locker room after the Atlanta game that he did not want the pressure of the role with Steve Smith out. That's why he isn't here. Obviously this situation is not particularly ideal, but we at least have guys in place who actually want to step up.

I like Ginn, always have. Belive it or not he was one of my favorite college players back in the day. When utilized properly he's a real weapon. His hands are 50/50 on those deep balls but he's done well with catching everything else. I really hope Shula uses him more in the screen game this time around, when used in 13 it was effective just didn't happen much.

Yep, LaFell sealed his fate with that stupid comment. I was on board with bringing him back until he said that.

Soooo Corey Brown not only earned a spot on the 53 after one of the worst pre-seasons i can remember but he actually earned a starting spot..smh..Rivera gonna Rivera

Brown played well as a rookie last year. He had a great OTA and a good training camp. Yes, he was terrible in the preseason. But no, lets 2 preseason games outweigh everything.

He'll have a short leash, but Rivera knows that he can get open and normally he catches well.  You don't become a good coach by overreacting. That's our job.

Funch will play a lot of snaps but I can understand that they don't want to overwhelm who's been out a lot in the preseason.

Cotch is injured, Norwood just arrived, and Funch is coming off injury. Who else could we start? NO ONE!

He had never caught well.. he has always been a body catcher. . That is not catching well.. He also didn't have a good rookie season... Kerry Colbert had a good rookie season.. Philly had 21 catches 292 yards and 2 TD'S ... That's not good...

It is considering the snaps he got and how we got him. Colbert was a second round pick and got playing time right away.

He didn't have a lot of drops. He caught it with his body more than I would like, but there were enough hands catches.

I didn't say that he had a good season. He played well for a rookie, and he was undrafted free agent. Colbert was a second round pick. Plus Brown had another role than Colbert.

I don't expect unrealistic things from UFDA WR's.
