Panthers Week 1 PFF Grades - Offense

Panthers right tackle Mike Remmers had the best performance of the day, according to PFF at least (take with a grain of salt).

Worst Performance? Michael Oher , which many of us could have predicted. The Panthers had only two players in the red including Trai Turner who was dinged up a bit during the game. This is a big improvement over last season as far as PFF grades go.

Here are the grades...

At that rate, Oher would have a worse season PFF grade than Bell did last year.

Olsen was only in to block on 6 pass plays out of 38 which should hopefully dispel the narrative that he was used primarily as a blocker.

We also used 2 TE's on over half of our passing plays although I'm sure that won't stop people from thinking Shula never utilizes that scheme.

Brandon Williams turn for some backup lovin' from the Huddle even tho he's only had 1 decent season (200f'n9 in a junior college) in his 2008-20012 college career and current 3 year NFL stint. The only back-up the Huddle currently loves more is the back-up offensive coordinator.
