Steve Smith

Steve smith haters make me sick bunch of unloyal pieces of poo. I feel sorry for you friends if you have any. The organization did him dirty point blank period. Just because you're a panther fan doesn't mean you have to blindly side with the team. Just as siding with steve smith and agreeing he was done wrong doesn't make you less of a panther fan and in fact in my eyes it makes you more of one.

That's just silly.

Football is a business. Players get cut, traded, etc all the time.  That's just how it is.

Yes a WR that wouldn't allow Cam to be the true leader of the offense and will demand Cam to throw him the ball every time, which most likely would force Cam to look his way most of the time when there are better options. . A guy that wouldn't help any other WR we have on the team and also would most likely end up in a fist fight with Norman. Sounds like a good idea.

As great as Smitty was to us this is probably exactly why we would never do it again with Smitty.  Other than to let him retire as a Panther.

Pop Quiz: What's our record?

What's the Ravens record?

Extremely stupid reply. Sorry Scot. I don't necessarily agree with Boogie but a team's performance has absolutely nothing to do with an individual player's. By your logic in this comment, JJ Watt wouldn't help us because just look at the Texans record and our record... Nobody can deny that Smith would help us win football games right now. Trading for him is not the answer though, even if Smitty, DG and the Ravens all wanted it to happen, which isn't reality.

Since this will reportedly be Steves last year, and Baltimore is a dumpster fire, why not bring him back to help the anemic WR core? Presumably Gettlemen thinks we can contend this year since we traded for Jared Allen, we could do the same for Smitty. At the very least he deserves a chance to play for a ring. Furtherore If he was cut because they wanted this to be Cams team, it definitely is now. Tampa didn't hesitant to bring back their kicker who they've cut twice now.

Did he not say that we 'needed' Steve Smith?

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
