Funchess

He stared with 4 straight drops, all of which were catchable. It seems like he has problems when catches are contested. He made a ridiculously good grab when no one was on him.

One of those drops was flat out a bad pass by Cam.  Only Olsen would have made that catch on this team and even then it was probably a 50-50 ball.

He got open and Cam kept going back at him. That is what I love about Cam and this team. Dropsies with Philly and with Funchess. So what happens? We keep going back at them. Philly hasn't had a drop all year I think. And Funchess comes up big with a few big catches. We don't give up on our players. We don't give up on our team. #KeepPounding

He did not look awesome, he looked lost... until he didn't and started catching the ball...

he did bounce back and when the pressure was at its highest. although, it may not have been that much pressure, had he only caught the earlier ones. but, coming back like (and when he did) that, gives me hope....

One good sign even when he wasn't catching the ball: he was getting separation and getting open in the middle of the defense.

If that 4th qtr can give him some much needed confidence, maybe he cab develop faster.

Did anyone notice that on the 1 receiver sets the majority of the time he was the lone receiver out wide? I was waiting all day for them to throw a fade and let him go get it. Either way, he dropped some passes he should have caught. Needs to clean that up. However, he looked liked a mountain when he was lined up against some of those CBs. Hopefully the light clicks for him soon.

It's encouraging that he is being targeted when he is in the game. Today it started to feel like Olsen was our only receiver. Fix some of the mental drops.. build more chemistry with Cam.. and take advantage of the reps he's given. This offense could benefit from having him on the field more often.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
