Since week 13 of last season, Stewart is the 2nd leading rusher in the NFL

I knew he was ballin', but I was surprised to read this.

Stewart has been tremendous since Week 13 of last season. His 977 yards rushing during that span ranks second in the NFL behind Baltimore’s Justin Forsett. He’s a big reason the Panthers have rushed for more than 100 yards in 16 consecutive regular-season games, the longest streak in team history and second longest currently in the NFL.

He didn’t have big holes. His longest carry was 11 yards. But he was relentless and got every inch out of his 20 carries, finishing with 78 yards and two touchdowns.

His play early kept the undefeated Panthers in position for quarterback Cam Newton’s game-winning 26-yard touchdown pass to tight end Greg Olsen with 32 seconds left.

“Stew was playing like a madman," Newton said.

Stewart gained yardage where there wasn’t any, and he did it against one of the league’s top run defenses.

Better stat is he's 2nd in broken tackles this season so far. Take out last season and Stew hasn't been that great outside of the Seattle game though. The line wasn't blocking well and teams are stacking the box and Stew has had some really nice runs but he hasn't looked as good early this year as he did late last year.

It took us the second half of the season to actually start seeing our running game come into form. We've changed the line a little bit so I expect that we're about to see everything come together.

The main difference between this year and last year is that ... we're already 5-0... and the running game will just get better.

Wait....by the posts in here all season, I thought our run game sucked.

Just typical Huddle Logic I guess.

Our RB game has sucked. Seattle was a break out game I hope. The running game including Cam has been very good overall. People just get nervous when Cam runs. Would much rather JStew is having 100 yard games and not need Cam getting 40-50 yards. But the run blocking has been average at best this year. Eagles might just be the team to get it rolling if they try that wide 9 they used against NY on Monday night.

There you go with the ridiculous Huddle Logic.  Read the DAMN article that was posted.

It did NOT say that Carolina was leading the league.....it said that Stewart is 2nd in the league in rushing.

So your assertion that our running numbers are only good because of Cam's running are not even valid.....and were proven laughable by the article.

It hasn't been great.  But I don't think its Stewart's fault.  There haven't been a lot of holes for him to run through, but he has made the most of what he had.

Numbers wise, he had his best game against Tampa.
