Offensive Line + Physicality + Funchess

Boys and Girls... These are some TOUGH DEFENSES and Defensive lines that we are playing. 

This is the NFL - Each team has close to $150 million dollars to hire some of the best talent and this is Very very very very early in the season so everyone is FRESH and Dangerous. 

Cam is back there with Time ... Something he didn't have last year. MY GOD. Philly was left with the option of just Blitzing the hell of the offensive line.. to get stops. 

Panthers are beyond Physical.... Physical is asking panthers for Permission to be used in the same sentence....

Funchess - Remember this guy is a second round pick who's on the field... PLAYING sure its not perfect but he's on the field... dodging some Nuclear Defenses out there and learning in a war zone. Its not a choice bro.. Those balls have to be caught.. there are no excuses and the only thing that these panthers accept is Pulling down those catches. 

Its okay boys - We are in the business of fielding Talent whether its UDFA, First Round Picks and they come here and PLAY PHYSICAL. 

If that doesn't scare teams across the league... know this.. Panthers should have been up at least 40 points in that game.

Funchess has been thrown some uncatchable balls, but he has some drops too.

Funch is what we thought KB would be.

He really needs to stick with KB and Cam next year.

O-line and Stew is straight DOMINATING. Seahawks and Eagles D is no joke, yet O-line is getting some great push and Stew is carrying like 4 dudes every run.

And I'm still not down on Funchess, but he better stop popping those balls up in the air. He is getting open though, just needs to consistently make those catches. This is the norm though with rookie WR's. Don't let last year's draft fool you, that was an anomaly.

He is being baptized by fire... Now imagine getting KB back with a rookie that is learning mentally to HOLD onto the ball.. its something you learn over and over and over again.

Funch is 21 to KB's 24 years old.  We got lucky KB was so good out of the gate.  If we develop this homegrown talent instead of chasing washed up vets and overpriced guys, we'll be just fine

Funchess in a strange one, he'll annoy the hell out of you and then pop up in the 4th quarter with a key/big grab, baptism of fire really, this is/should be a developmental year for him but KB's injury takes away from that

Funchess has a long, lonnnng way to go. I think its obvious we need to acquire a veteran before the trade deadline but I doubt the team wants to give up any more picks.

It's funny that Funchess was reviewed to have better hands and run better routes than KB coming out. Now, I'm not sure what to think about him yet...

Funch is progressing. He's been more involved the past few weeks. Even if he's made some mistakes, he's bounced right back. 

He'll be fine.
