Opinions: Was the last FG a wise call?

Up by 8 with under two minutes left. When I saw the replay of the kick and how close they came to blocking it (timing is everything), held my breath a bit. Why not go for it and run some more seconds off the clock? Defense was playing well and we had the running game working.  Was that a wise call?

So here are choices and possible outcomes:

1. Don't kick and give them back the ball where they can attempt a pass for a miracle, game-tying TD.

2. Attempt the FG where they attempt to block it for a miracle, game-tying TD.

3. Kick the FG and *make* it and be up by 2 scores, icing the game with only seconds left.

Considering the above, which do YOU think is the smarter move?  I really don't see how anyone can not understand this.

    • I turned to the NFL Network and they are playing the Wildcard Game against the Rams I think we gained a lot of respect around the league we hung in there for a while into the 4th Quarter 🙂
    • Does anyone know for sure if the game tonite will be on HBO max?  That is where I watched the last one and only access I currently have- I am in SE NC and no broadcast stations carry the games.😖
    • take a  look around the league at other young Qb's such as Drake Maye , Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix , CJ Stroud  & Caleb Williams who at the time like Bryce Young they also were drafted by teams with a losing record .the only difference with these Qb's is after joining their teams with a losing record they led those same teams to a winning record in a very short period of time .it's simply what you call a game changer & or elite Qb's & then take a  look at  the other side of the coin you have Qb's such as Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields  & Anthony Richardson also like Bryce Young all first round picks who instead of winning either did not play or led their teams to a losing record while playing  Bryce Young who has an overall record of 14-30 & wildly inconsistent & never in the history of the NFL has a Qb 5'10" or shorter had a successful carrer as Qb in the NFL  if anything history is telling you exactly what ?..just saying
