Just realized I had a good frame of this... panthers-colts-1.thumb.jpg.4079a1383abe4

May have been a hold. But if it was, it was probably the least ticky tack holds of the night that went called or uncalled.

Interesting time to throw the flag. Game would have been over without it. Hard to believe that did not play a factor in the refs decision.

You know, I wouldn't have cared if the Colts were getting flags for TACKLING OUR D-LINEMAN TO THE GROUND all game.  Short was held literally, all game, no joke.  I mean, I seen jersey in hands that second half with no calls.

Also, are people finally starting to come around to the fact the refs are pushing the games to one side or the other?  I know a few of us have talked about this in the past but everyone thought we were crazy.  It's more obvious every year.

The refs desperately tried to hand the game away.

I don't know if the NFL, ESPN and/or the refs wanted the Colts to win or to at least make it a game. I imagine the Panthers winning 23-6 isn't good for business.

It's the NFL.  It's the only thing that makes sense because the officials hardly ever face consequences for bad calls.  They keep doing it weekly and you never hear anything.  In fact, even refs with bad ratings get to ref playoff games and whatnot because of their system.   The only reason we probably got the game against Luck was because they wanted Luck to crush us so they could compare Cam to Luck and choose Luck.

I don't know about this game or Cam vs Luck, but if you think there isn't some form of tampering going on in a multi billion dollar industry, then you don't understand how capitalism works.

You don't leave everything up to "chance" and "fair competition" when this kind of money is at stake.

Absolutely! I actually paused the game once to show my wife (who was not pleased with my incessant screaming at the TV at midnight) KK's jersey completely turned around after TWO linemen pulled him away from Luck.

Look the refs were terrible.  The botched review, the clock stopping when tackled in bounds, the additional time added to the play clocks.  But let's face it...

The extended arm wrapped around the guy you're blocking will get a holding call more often than not.  You can't have an arm wrapped around the back of the defender you're blocking.

The problem is that the colts did it multiple times and it wasn't called.  That's bullshit.  All I want is a consistent application of the rules.

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
